History

Haworth RDA is a non-profit making charity established in 2001 with one rider, one pony and three volunteers. In the last nineteen years we have grown significantly and now cater for over 160 + riders, have 11 specially trained horses and over 25 regular volunteers.

2001 - Haworth RDA founded

2010 - Indoor Arena Constructed, Opened by Princess Anne

2015 - After school club launched

2014 - Mechanical Horse 'Penny' bought

2016 - Horsebox bought thanks to Wooden Spoon donation

2017 - Special Olympics Nationals (Sheffield)

2018 - Charlotte Seth wins RDA Rider of the year award

2019 - Special Olympics World Games, James and T-Jay bring back gold

2019 - T-Jay wins RDA volunteer of the year award

2020 - Princess Royal (Anne) visits HRDA
